Bill and John made a comeback in 1984 when they, with Roy Hanks, helped bring in the Formula 2 Class, which in those days had 350cc engines.

Terry Windle built the chassis, free of charge for Bill, to help promote the Formula 2 Class and the team had a lot of success on the short circuits, winning the 2nd race of the Formula 2 sidecars at the TT in 1985.

In ’87 Bill had success again at the TT, coming 3rd with Sean Collister as passenger.

Bill retired once again in 1997.
